SUE PARMAN is an anthropologist and award-winning poet, playwright, writer, and artist who writes in a number of genres, from poetry and anthropological travel memoirs to literary fiction and mysteries. She is particularly interested in the interstices of science and the unknown. After thirty years of university teaching in southern California, she moved to Oregon in search of water (literally and metaphorically).
